"What stands between you and the life you want isn't necessarily a lack of effort or ability. It's perspective. And perspective can change."
—— Feyisola, Personal Development Strategist

ABOUT ME
I'm Feyisola. I've worked professionally in the mental health and wellbeing space for several years, supporting people through some of the harder points in their lives. Through this work and my training, I've developed a deep understanding of how people think, what tends to keep them feeling stuck, and what helps them move forward.Verawell exists because I've seen, again and again, that what stands between you and the life you want isn't necessarily a lack of effort or ability. It's perspective. And perspective can change.

As a Personal Development Strategist, my role is to help you make sense of how you’re interpreting your circumstances, so you can move forward with clarity and direction. I support you in closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be, by helping you understand what's keeping that gap in place. This is not therapy, counselling, or any form of mental health treatment. It does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions, processing of trauma, or clinical intervention of any kind. Read our disclaimers here. You can expect a structured, evidence-informed process focused on helping you notice what’s keeping you stuck, and move forward. The sessions I offer are future-focused and practical. While we may briefly reference the past where relevant, the focus is on where you are now, where you want to be, and how to move forward. My approach is shaped by several years of professional experience in the mental health and wellbeing space supporting people through periods of difficulty and helping them improve their wellbeing.Verawell sits at the intersection of everything I've learned, brought into a format that's designed to support meaningful forward movement.
Qualifications & Training

THE PROBLEM
You might recognise a gap between where you are and where you would like to be. For some, that gap is clear: you have a sense of direction, but you're struggling to reach your desired destination. For others, the gap is less defined. You're not clear where you want to go, only that where you are now doesn't feel quite right. You may be moving, but without a clear direction, it can still leave you feeling stuck. It's worth acknowledging that this gap can also result from circumstances outside your control, including systemic inequalities, health conditions, and other realities that can significantly impact forward movement. This is not to dismiss any of that, or to suggest that everyone starts from the same place — not everything is within your control. Though there are things that are, and that’s where Verawell comes in.Verawell focuses on helping you close the gap by working on what sits within your reach: how you’re interpreting your circumstances, and how that determines what feels possible for you.Your perspective is shaped by your experiences, and it can influence the limits you place on yourself without you realising it. It affects how you respond, the choices you make, and the direction you take, sometimes leaving you feeling unable to move beyond a particular point.

THIS MIGHT BE YOU IF:
You know you're capable of more but struggle to move forward.
You overthink decisions and second-guess yourself often.
You feel unclear about your direction or next steps.
You know something needs to change, but can’t quite identify what.
You struggle to dream big, often limiting what's possible for you.
You’ve tried different routines, systems, and approaches, but nothing leads to lasting change.
THE APPROACH
The focus is on closing the gap between where you are and where you would like to be, not by changing your circumstances, but by shifting how you're relating to them. You might bring an everyday challenge into our sessions. This could be difficulty setting boundaries, overthinking a decision, or navigating friendship / relationship dynamics.Rather than focusing on the circumstance alone, we look at how you’re interpreting it and how that may be shaping your responses and the direction you’re taking. From there, I help you:
make sense of your thinking
identify what needs to shift
determine the necessary steps to move forward
This is a structured, goal-oriented process focused on helping you make progress towards specific personal goals. It is mainly future-focused, with an emphasis on where you are now, where you want to be, and how to move forward.
It is also a collaborative process. I don’t tell you what to do, but I support you in finding your own solutions, making decisions, and taking action in a way that feels right for you.My approach is grounded in psychological understanding and informed by evidence-informed frameworks and techniques, bringing both structure and depth to our sessions.
WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:
A clearer understanding of what’s actually keeping you stuck.
Awareness of the patterns influencing your choices and outcomes
More clarity and confidence in decision-making.
A new way of seeing situations that have felt impossible.
Greater self-trust when navigating uncertainty.
The ability to step back from overthinking and see things more clearly.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I had The Clarity Session with Feyisola, and I can honestly say I’ve never left a session feeling more confident and empowered.I came in with so many mental blockers, some I wasn’t even aware of, but she was able to gently unpick them and help me understand what was really holding me back. More importantly, she gave me practical strategies to turn my dreams into something real and achievable.During the session, I felt truly heard and seen. For the first time in a long time, I felt equipped to believe in my dreams again, not just as an idea, but as something tangible.I left with a clear plan and a genuine sense of excitement about moving forward and living with intention. The questions she asked pushed me to think more deeply and really explore what my future could look like in a way that felt realistic and attainable.Feyisola has truly helped me believe in myself again. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. It’s impactful, empowering, and genuinely life changing.—— Ayomide Ogunkoya, The Clarity Session.
